Frost Mage - Feral Druid viable at 80?

I'd like to get some opinions from people as to whether they think a 2v2 comp such as Frost Mage and Feral Druid could be competative in the arena above 2k. Does anyone believe with the changes to Feral they could serve as the same synergy with a Mage as a Rogue could, if not better?

If you are wondering I do have experience playing Restokin - Rogue comp hovering around 2150 in S3 (OP I know :-X).

As damage for feral(cat) has been greatly increased and new abilities such as feral charge (cat) and savage roar its highly possible they will be viable as currently i am getting 5k and above crits on my druid .. personal best was 9080 ferocious bite in wintergrasp (no not on a level 70 was on an 80, but no screenie :'() As i said damage wise feral druids can be on par with rogues. I am speccing feral for pvp for now.
