so the general conclusion is : wait for the next wmv patch, heh. The main reason that I can't be arsed to manually cut the char is because I have other projects going and a sig isn't really worth the extra 5 minutes of cutting. That's how I see it now, it may change soon

Sokogeka provided a great cutting tutorial and it's in the first post (I think it's his WMV one?). It should take you under a minute to do.

WHat could be happening is that you release shift before you release your mouse, so it jumps to being distorted.

While holding shift, you need to drag the corners to keep the proportions, otherwise you're just squeezing the image together, where holding shift is a waste.
Make sure you hold shift when you release the image.

About the cutting issues, I just Print Screen, paste it into a new PS canvas, use the Crop tool to cut out everything that's not the character and the background color, then remove the background as usual. Takes 20 sec.

General colour scheme: I'll go with the "Are you a green, nature loving Druid?"
Any extras: Whatever you think would be best, I'm quite fond of the kind of green, gloomy forest look that is present in Ferales - if you can do something with that. I do not own the Raven Lord mount or anything like that, and I despise the new Tree of Life model :P
