its probably gonna be a staff with hit on it that increases haste by % and at a certain stack increases damage output by a % while giving u double % that it gave u while it was stacking....sounds too OP

It's never going to happen, I know only two classes would benefit from it, but I really want a legendary tanking shield.

OT: Caster dps weapon is next pretty sure I read something strongly hinting at that in some blue posts.

Its fair to assume its going to be a staff.
Not all casters can use Swords.
Not all casters can use Maces.
All casters can use Daggers
All Casters can use Staffs.
However, most legendarys have had a bit of flair to them, its hard to add flair to something as small as a dagger so chances are its going to be a staff.

Yes, it will most likely be a staff, but that was not the point.

The point was that blizzard hasn't confirmed it (yet), so we can still only assume that it's going to be a staff until blizzard confirms it.

casters at the time didnt need a special weapon to global people, all the caster cleaves were far more OP most of the time than anyone with a shmourne.

Would be awesome with a tanking signet or necklace with a cool unique proc or visual effect, cloak would also be nice.
