I would say definitely get hit/exp capped(unless you're just wearing the wrong gear in the armory snapshot) . One thing I've been trying to do is get rid of expertise gear and replace is with more arp/crit/any other dps stat and just use SoV glyph to make up for the lost expertise. Otherwise, good everything else

I was under the assumption that with a draenei in my group that I only needed 7% hit when I raided, which is what I gear for.
I know my expertise is at 207.. 214 is what I need, so I'm just shy. Not enough to re-enchant something for it. I probably won't
notice much difference at all.


To the guy above: Might want to use socket gloves and put a 20 str gem in there. I'd regem your belt with all 20 str after you fix your meta. Same with boots, 20 str gem. You'll get more return.

I'd suggest putting your Nightmare Tear in your conquerer legs so you can get the 6 str bonus. I'd just regem and everything else looks fairly decent. Low on expertise obviously. After the new meta, nightmare tear, 20 str in every other socket, enchanting your gloves and putting a socket there. You'll be good.

9.5/10. Considering your situation (And thus by my guess having Ulduar as your highest tier) it looks fine. You have some extra Hit, but its all from gear so no major concern there. You could also change out your Meta/use a NMT, but you'd gain only 4 STR from it in the long run for the cost of about 500 gold. Just move that point in Healing Light to Vindication and you're good.

The free Item slot will be T9, if the bug is fixed.

Some items still have old gems, bcoz I changed them against other items for expertise and hit. With the patch they will be changed.

The gear is "on par", although as you mentioned yourself - ur gemming is not. Several weeks into 3.2, and still haven't been able to obtain full epix gems, that's either slack or rl aggro.

As for enchanting, that should be fixed:
-Shoulders
-Gloves
-Chest
-Feet
-Legs
-Weapon

Specc:
5/10/56 remove SoC 1/1 and DP 1/1 - and put those in Vindication. More use in pve instances, where there's no demoshout present.

You're neither hit-capped, nor soft-exp capped - at least go for Icewalker on boots, to get +12 hit.
Also, your professions is not the best for a ret-pally. Best comb is either: BS/JC or JC/Enchanting.

Lots of changes you can/should do, to fulfill your master degree in ret instead of padawan lvl

Just upgraded a T9 piece yesterday - so I'm aware of the sick overhit, and intend to switch boots enchants this night, unless I get upgrade which removes some of the hit.

I honestly cant really find anything that I dont like. Things like the runestone, are I presume due to you waiting for a Deaths Verdict. Honestly, your about the closest to a perfect ret as i've seen, spot on for all your cap's and proper gemming, enchanting, and generally high gear level. 9.95/10

Still waiting on a ToC weapon (we have terrible luck with drops) and a deaths choice. I understand my wrathstone isnt terribly good but until I can get a substantial upgrade like a comet's trail, dark matter, or my deaths choice I dont plan on changing it simply because I find the controllability of that proc far too useful on so many fights being able to burn when I need to.

Hello Munk,

you've gotten yourself a nice set of gear. Everything looks like you know where you wanna go. I do however have one or two points to make on your gear:

First one is the Neck. Atk-power = not that good. Converted, you get arround 156 atkpower from neck, gem & Talent included. And you got ArP, which isnt so good for us. Possible upgrades could include the neck from 25 val'kyr in ToC ( which is, converted, 197.8 atkpower).

Second: The Leather boots. But maybe you are just waiting for greaves of the 7th legion, amirite?

Your weapon problem could be solved the most easiest way by doing ony 25 for the obsidian edged blade 2.0. Or ToC 10 heroic with 25 attemps left for Lothars. Althrough your hammer is not that bad either.

I would rate you somewhere around 9 - 9.5/10.
