I've been a CoF fan for like 15 years, but I suck at keeping up with newer stuff. Just recently discovered Manticore. Not bad. I think I'd still have to say my favorite CoF album is going to be a tie between Midian and Damnation, but I've liked most of the stuff I've heard on Manticore.

That sucks... On the plus side, new Triptykon is freaking A W E S O M E. I think Tom G. Warrior has come very close to his peak, Melana Chasmata is just as good as both 80's CF and Monotheist, it shot straight to my #1 spot of this year (so far). Oh man, them riffs can swallow planets.

New The Great Old Ones cd is definitely better than their debut! Really, really good atmospheric bm!
edit: I'm pretty sure I'm hearing a lot of recycled riffs on that new Insomnium track
. Revelation on the other hand, now that's pretty orgasmic stuff!
