MH + OH:
639 spell power
89 crit
50 hit

Staff:
550 spell power
86 haste
113 hit

Now if you don't need the hitrating, it's kinda obvious to go with the MH + OH as you have way more spellpower on it, which is the main stat for a shadowpriest (by a maragin compared to haste tho), to bad the secondary stat isn't haste on the MH+OH, but regardless...it's better.

It Sims for like... 7.3k DPS if memory serves. Shame there's not a lot of good non-Hit 232 / 245 badge gear. Wrathful Haste Honor gear is a good substitute for some of that if you don't mind BGing during your initial Heroic grind.

It's actually a bigger sp difference unenchanted, after enchants its only a 71 sp difference.

The following are the new scaling factors:

Int = 0.22
Spi = 0.59
SP = 1.00 (obviously as values are normalized to SP)
Hit = 1.88
Crit = 0.76
Haste = 0.98

You should try it out yourself so you get the correct amount of hit valued in case you don't need it all.

MH + OH + Black Magic enchant: 797,48 without hit. 891,48 with hit.

Staff + 81 SP enchant: 741,90 without hit. 954,34 with hit.

So if your lacking alot of hit, go with the staff. If you don't, go with MH + OH.

Well in this case roll a dice to chose your gear or use whichever sells for the less gold. If you won't optimize your enchants (and I guess you're gemmed fully blue 'lol im not gonna spend gold for 4 sp'), just don't optimize your gear. What's the point ?
