I have made a thread a few weeks back about threat. I am still seeking some advice and some tips from those Death Knights who LOL at the DPS trying to pull the boss off you.
I am Blood tank and I own Hysteria for my sexy feral Druid who pulls 11,000DPS almost every fight that I cast it on him. I also have DRW since I read that it stacks onto your threat as well.
If I had to guess what my average TPS was on a boss fight, I'd have to say anywhere between 6.000 to 8,000. Really not that good for a Death Knight. If I get some good crits in a row I will run my threat up to 13,000.
I want to pull at least 10,000 or more on average and I am not sure what I am doing wrong. There are some DPS in my guild that pull 9,000 to 10,000TPS, good thing they know how to watch their threat or else they would have pulled off me.
My rotation is:
Icy touch, Plague Strike, Heart Strike, Heart Strike, Death Strike, then I will cast a Death coil, another Death Strike, then four more heart strikes and I do it all over again.
Perhaps that is a bad rotation? I need all the advice I can get.
