It turns out Archbishop Benedictus is part of the twilight council.

Well my answer is that you dont judge lore characters by gameplay tweaks.

Unfortunately, for people to care about a character they need to be active in Wow. To me, in an ideal situation you will get a reaction from the player base when a character changes. (see Millhouse Manahouse)Benedictus really hasn't done anything, even in lore his greatest accomplishment is being the successor of a great invidual, thus him going Twilight doesn't phase me at all.
