Right, this has proberly been asked already before, and I have asked in the mage section but to no success.
What I am looking for is a macro that makes my water elemental attack the target I am currently frostbolting.
The macro I am currently using is as follows.

    Code:
    #showtooltip Frostbolt
    /stopmacro [noexists]
    /cast [harm] Frostbolt
    /petattack [harm] [target=pet, exists]
This works all well and fine except for one little detail, it's not really "spamable". As in that if I am spamming my frostbolt button, the pet's cast simply "resets" and it just stands there not casting anything.

I have tried a few different types such as using "/cast waterbolt" instead of "/petattack" though this fixed the issue with the elemental just standing there casting, it didn't switch target when I did, it continued to attack the same target as before.

Is the thing I am looking for possible at all or should I just find another spell to use this macro with, that isn't my main nuke?

I'd maybe put it with Ice Lance

    #showtooltip
    /cast Ice Lance
    /petfollow
    /petattack

That's closer to what I wanted, now I can spam it while having my pet attack the target I am attacking. But as soon as I am not spamming, it goes back to the previous target. Is there a way to make it switch targets completely?

The goal; 1 button without need of a modifier for mashable switching to my disarm reducing weapon when I want to kick some rogue's teeth in. Luckily, one of my weapons is a sword, one is an axe. I remember a macro command existed that allowed for checking an equipped weapon type, can anyone remind me the correct syntax?

    iirc it should work out something like;

    Code:
    #showtooltip 16
    /equipset [equipped:Two-Handed Axes] swordset
    /equipset [equipped:Two-Handed Swords] axeset
Given the self-gcd on weapon swaps and the equip checks, it should just work to rotate the weapons 1 change per push, and not go berserk, right?

I have this as my basic trap launcher/drop trap macro.

    #showtooltip Snake Trap(Nature)
    /cast [modifier:shift] Trap Launcher
    /cast Snake Trap(Nature)
Drops a trap on click and on shift click it activates launcher then another click it selects the trap. I don't like the shift click part, and would rather it be right click to activate the launcher and then left click to select the trap.

I found a macro on the forums a while ago, but for the life of me, I can't find it again. It was relatively simple, but I have 0 knowledge of Macros.

It was simply to cast slam, but if it wasn't instant, it would also stop the casting of slam and re-enable auto attack, in case I accidentally hit slam when I don't have a Free, Instant Slam proc.

What you described is basically this:
    #showtooltip
    /cast Slam
    /stopcasting
    /startattack

    #showtooltip Gnaw
    /console Sound_EnableSFX 0
    /petautocastoff Claw
    /petattack [mod:shift, @focus] []
    /cast [mod:shift, @focus] [] Leap
    /cast [mod:shift, @focus] [] Gnaw
    /console Sound_EnableSFX 1
    /script UIErrorsFrame:Clear()

I had a working similar Gnaw macro before and now when I tried to re-create it, it gives me error message "Target too close" when pet is on melee range, and won't cast Gnaw at all. Works from range however. Solutions?

I was just wondering if there was an easy castsequence macro to cast windfury on my main hand and flame tongue on the off hand?

    Try this out:

    #showtooltip
    /castsequence reset=5 Windfury Weapon,Flametongue Weapon
    /castsequence reset=5 16,17
    /click StaticPopup1Button1

Right, I've been looking around a bit now and can't seem to find anything like this, quite possibly because it can't be done.....
I'm looking for a "pull-macro" so I don't have to remember everything to mash on OMFG NEED THREAT pulls as a prot warrior.
What I want to get done, as much as possible of it in a castsequence is:

    Go Berserkerstance cast recklessness,
go def stance, cast battle shout, cast berserker rage, cast heroic throw, cast charge, cast shield block, cast shield slam.

I know it's a longshot, and I don't intend on one button tanking, but it's only for pulling and to remember it all, getting max initial threat on my target to avoid those dps horny fury warriors to catch up on me within the first 20 secs...

If not all works in one macro, is there anyway of splitting it up into 2 macros or just do some manually and have the rest in a macro?
Please someone help me and I'll send cookies in return!

    Hmm I guess try this:

    #showtooltip
    /castsequence reset=combat Berserker Stance,Recklessness,Defensive Stance,Battle Shout,Berserker Rage,Heroic Throw,Charge,Shield Block,Shield Slam,Battle Shout
I put the extra Battle Shout at the end to force a spell with a cooldown so the macro can't be spammed and bring you back into Berserker Stance etc.
