As far as i know haste should increase number of ticks for dots, i tested BA and SrS, and with my 22.54% haste its still do 5 ticks. So did blizzard change some thing in the way haste affect dots or its just not our case and hunter dots dont take effect from haste?

im pretty sure haste only affects auto shots and steady shots. not 100% sure though.

It was changed not to effect are's or melee dots due to us getting faster resource regen from haste instead presumably because they didn't want to cause haste to be the new arp for physical dps.

and your focusregeneration. That is also why your dots arent improved by haste. I just can't find the bluepost, but once they stated, that when haste effects your resourcesystem your dots won't scale. It's the same thing for warriors, rogues, DKs and ferals.
