if i remember correctly theyre the dark red ish dragonkins so that would make it 1.5k - 2k

Maybe because there might not be one on his server's auction house?

Try 4k. If it doesn't sell, you've lost a few silver. If it does sell, you've got 2k gold you wouldn't otherwise. On some servers it goes for that much.

If it doesn't sell, try 3k, then 2k. Don't settle for less than 1.8k

slap it on the ah for 10k then everytime it doesnt sell reduce it by 500g till you find a rich pet collector

I sold 5 of them for 1.5k each a while back. Thats how I used to earn money, whelp farming

I know it isn't particularly efficient, but I was successful. In 12 hours I got about 3 Dark Whelplings. Took me 5 hours for an Azure Whelpling, and 9 hours for a Crimson whelpling. No luck finding an Emerald one yet though
