Best yuri couple ever reminds me how much I want to see a Mahou Sensei Negima anime adaptation. Adaptation, not some original series with similar characters.

Yeah, a few short OVAs were released. I wanna a full 50-ish episode series with Fate/Zero animation quality, though. :<

Dont we all man.. However to Esdese, dont let that fact that the series doesnt follow the manga steer you away from it, its actually a pretty decent series and the ending arc in the series was actually kinda sad, had a few tears when it happened, so i would watch it for sure

Well, as I said: my opinion is skewed on this. The more I like the original material the more I hate the adaptation when it does not follow it faithfully. >.>







On another note, grabbed Gokukoku no Brynhildr. Delivers so far, but that OP is so edgy I cut my eyes on it. ;D

Is it more based around the Love Hina-ish harem comedy in the first half of the manga, or around the DBZ lightning pew pew of the second half? I don't mind both but Akamatsu Ken is much better at harem romcoms than he is on shounen action.

It doesnt follow the manga at all really, just has the characters and an original plot. However like i said please dont let that steer you away from the show, it is really good in my opinion and worth a watch. I cant remember for sure but i do think it has a few dbz fight like scenes. But nothing like the second half of the show. The ova i mention, I believe it has dbz fight scenes like the second half of the manga, it takes place in the magic world, but only has 5episodes, but its also worth a watch
