it looks like the anime was made in 2000 lol, while it was made in 2007. just doesn't feel right

You ever notice that really old anime is really weird sometimes? Like, not "anime weird", but its so normal that its weird? Like, "Are you sure this wasn't made in America?" weird?

I don't really care about the card game in Chihiyafuru, the music and visuals are lovely, and I love seeing how the characters react with eachother, I'm glad they are taking time to build up the past and establish the friendship's between the characters, I fell this will really pay off in later episodes and we'll feel more for them.

Never saw indeed, sad isn't it. Heard of it before,it aired in 1980 in belgium on tv, was born 12 years later and such, not bothered checking it on streaming sites.

but the american cartoon is an cartoon influenced by anime, like pretty much all other american cartoons

i never bother with dubs except for some series then.
edit: don't think i've seen romeoxjuliet yet.

even if the dub is better then the sub, i'll watch the sub first and if i should ever rewatch then i go for the dub.
