"done" with the build I did for a friend, didn't go as smooth as I planned. Ordered a NH-D14 LGA2011 instead of the LGA1150 version (I'm and idiot...), so this will be added soon, and the right memory DIMM is faulty. The define R4 is a very nice case, excellent build quality, so quiet when you have all fans @5V on the fan controller. My only issue with it was the zip tie holes in the back, there are some in the middle, but behind the actual motherboard, there are none...
Cable management isn't perfect, but it'll do in a windowless case :-). Routed the PCI-E cables upwards because the GPU was sagging so hard. This reduced it quite a bit. Shame on you Asus for still not fixing your GPU sagging...

Fractal design define R4
Sums it up quite well. The corner piece is being integrated into the construction after you finished the first table but before you continue with the second one making it a very solid construction.
With this design now being at least 15y old I have my doubts you'd still find the necessary components to build it like I did.
~5y ago, when I decided to run more than one screen, I wasn't even able to find the monitor stand you can see under the center one.
Doing some internet search I was able to find some similar designs, might have to look for office related products.

I like that very much.
What is inside your 540 though?
8700K (5GHz) - Z370 M5 - Mugen 5 - 16GB Tridentz 3200MHz - GTX 1070Ti Strix - NZXT S340E - Dell 24' 1440p (165Hz)

I also added in some purple LED's for the inside of the case, seeing inside the window all lit up is lovely!
Peripherals are:
Steelseries Siberia V2 headset
Cm storm quickfire rapid TK mechanical keyboard with brown switches
Razer naga mouse
I have a new benQ 144hz monitor on its way soon
Niceee, you'll need more than a 760 to really pump those kinds of framerates in heavier games though (or play at low-medium settings) :P
Also it's risky to keep a glass of full water like that on the desk, I would probably end up knocking it over in the first 5 seconds haha. Bottles > glasses!
But make sure the bottle is from a good brand, preferably using high-quality materials to ensure best performance.

Doesn't change much though. Still well below even 60fps (hz).
