Attack on Cell Block 99- 9/10- Excellent Movie with the most Pro Life plot of any movie I have ever seen. Was pretty normal shitty situation at first, got better then much much worse. You constantly find your self rooting for Vaughn's character, hoping he will somehow persevere through the immense brick wall he is up against. Great Plot, Great Characters, all around Great Movie.

    Jurassic World 2 - 5/10

Everything was too predictable. Dinosaurs were always in an extreme state, which kind of became ridiculous after a while. Like literally everything was a "close" call and became eye rolling. Lot of contrived and formulaic moments.

I got bored. Ending was interesting though, even though it doesn't really work how they want it to.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom: 6.5 ~ 10 The dino action came fast and was good, but the people drama was dumb and dragged. Franklin and Wheatley were annoying as balls. It played out like a shlocky Syfy movie with better effects. Not necessarily a bad thing. Bonus points for Blue. You're my girl, Blue! I liked Maisie's twist. Not really sure if it was worth it to sit through the credits for that last scene.

Do you like plot elements that are really fucking predictable or something? I knew she would press the button from the moment the group started watching the hydrogen gas seep in.

Calm your tits. The twist that she was a clone of Lockwood's dead daughter.

Even that was predictable. The photo hiding scenes were too thought provoking.

Arguably better than a shoehorned cameo of someone from a previous film.

Take it with a grain of salt..

Steve buscemi plays himself.... he is funny though
Ending of Beriya satisfying, that scum...
Malenkov was badly a cted...but then again that actor has never been able to act...
To be fair the movie was never meant to be historically accurate cause it was based off a comic strip and tbh the fact its set in Russia is almost inconsequential.

The point of the movie was to be a very dark funny satire about the corruption and paranoia that was going on at the time at the Soviet Leadership after a very notorious figure who died and tbh he couldve made up a completely fabricated country to set it in and it would still have resonated but the fact its almost based off a true story certainly gives it weight.

Though it isn't exactly historically accurate it does hit all the correct beats like Beria trying to take over and what happens to him after etc etc

Though you are right Malenkov couldve been a bit better acted though i still thought he played it well playing a spineless, weak, incompetent yes man. Though i must say Michael Palin is badly underused but i think thats because of what he was given and the fact Molotov was just a fanatical Stalinist even though he had his wife imprisoned and was about to have him executed!!

As for the rest i think Steve Buscemi fucking nailed it and so did Jason Issacs as Zhukov also Simon Russell Beale who also was Brilliant as the slimey scumbag Lavrentiy Beria.

    The Bookshop (2017) - 8/10

HOLY CRAP! This movie took me by surprise. 1/5th into it I thought it would have been some insipid clusterfuck of British etiquette/quirky crap. Was I really wrong! It shows the depressing side of people's worst intentions.

    Incredibles 2 (2018) - 8/10 (A-)

Great movie, it was funny, the action was really well done, it had a good pace, it had some interesting, subversive ideas/themes. I think it is probably a bit better than the first one.

War Dogs - 6.5/10: Fairly entertaining. Kind of surprised Cooper's screen time was so limited, to be honest.

    Hotel Artemis - 2/10
    Pros: Action.
Cons: I just didn't see the point. Plot was weak, no real depth to story.

    Before that --

    Jurassic World - 7/10
Pros: Keeps your attention. Decent story line. Same actors as previous one, all quality.
Cons: Seems like they are running out of ideas to produce new ones.

    A Quiet Place

    8/10

It was cool, I really loved the direction. The best part about the movie was communication part. So, yeah I would suggest you to do watch it before I start spilling and spoiling I should better leave it at that.

Totally ridiculous but entertaining. I didn't enjoy it as the previous installment but it was good enough.

    The Domestics - 7.5/10

This was a fun little post apocalyptic survival porn, didnt really offer anything new to the genre but was shot and acted well enough it holds your attention and the world building is quite fun with ridicilous gangs like the gamblers that wear animal heads and roll a giant casino wheel on what they do with you. If you like dark comedy and a better version of the walking dead but movie form then check this out

    Tau : 3/10

Gary Oldman needed some money I guess and literally phones in a performance as a AI learning itself/its environment oh and looking after test subjects its evil master kidnaps.

Cliche ridden, unoriginal, plot holes everywhere. Its crap

    Interesting little flick.

Tropic Thunder: 8/10 I know some people don’t like this move, but when you’re watching the directors cut with Ben Stiller, Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr doing the commentary, man, it’s hard not to laugh the whole way through.
