Is this correct or am I missing something?

most if not all the CC in PvP are meing reduced to 8 sec. PvE enviroment remains untouched.

Yeah, they mean PvP. PvE durations stay as they've always been.

Could you imagine trash in like Tol Borad if it was 8seconds in pve? lolol
Though with diminishing returns, trinkets, abilities; this nerf seems a bit silly imo. Dunno how much things changed in arena (havnt gotten into it yet) but i know in WoTLK arena; my poly abil seemed like a wasted gcd half the time cuz people wouldnt stay poly'd lol
