After reading around on forums I have stumpled over a pretty big mistake in either the talent or the talent tooltip of Conviction in the Holy paladin tree.

The tooltip clearly states that it increases your healin done by 3/6/9% on youself AND on other targets, as it does no state that it is only on yourself. Now after i read about this on some forums I decided to test this myself and came to the conclusion that Conviction does not affect your healing done to your targets, but only to yourself.
All these tests are done with the talent points of the screenshot below without Divinity and I do not have any sort of other healing taken bonus on me of any sort.
Talents:
Proof:
Healing target with no Conviction stacks on me:
1. 8173 none crit
2. 8503 none crit
Average 8338 heal
Healing target with 3 Conviction stacks on me:
1. 8390 none crit
2. 8432 none crit
3. 8539 none crit
4. 8376 none crit
5. 8443 none crit
Average 8436 heal (taking 9% off is 7676.76 which is no where near average heal with no conviction up)
Healing self with no Conviction stacks on me:
1. 8237 none crit
2. 8261 none crit
3. 8268 none crit
4. 8378 none crit
Average 8286 heal
Healing self with 3 conviction stacks on me:
1. 9028 none crit
2. 8981 none crit
3. 8923 none crit
4. 8830 none crit
5. 9238 none crit
6. 9276 none crit
Average 9046 heal (taking 9% off is 8231.86 which is pretty close to my heals with no conviction)
I have tried this on players with no healing taken bonus aswell with exactly the same result.
The conclusion of this is weather the tooltip is showing wrong, or the talent isn't working correctly. It would be very appriciated if we can get a blue post on this matter as holy paladins will read this and test it themselves, and find that the talent currently is completly useless for holy paladins.
Cheers
