I havent read it, so i cant be a proper critic for it, but that summary makes it sound like a generic medieval fantasy series.

I judge books by their cover a lot. I may read it as i only hear it being praised, but i dont think itll be any time soon.

There's not a lot of fantasy in it. It's more political. That's at least what I've based of the show.
I'm waiting for the first four books to arrive on my doorstep tomorrow or the day after.
