Rain of Fire buff in 4.1 - FINALLY =)

Rain of Fire damage has been increased by 25%.

Shame about the mana cost though (57%-ouch), time to upset healers with my lifetapping.

Doesnt Rain already cost a metric ton? I cant cast it more than 5-6 times before OOM. 100K Mana gone in a flash. Seed seems just as bad if not worse because you can chain cast it as opposed to letting it channel.

Rain of Fire needs more ticks that do less damage like other similar aoe's for most fights it way to clunky and can really fuck u over waiting so long for the first tick

Rain needs more Ticks, at shorter intervals. The damage is compareable to buffed up demo hellfire per tick and that can get a little crazy with the number of ticks and speed hellfire puts out.

Tho if you're demo, you only lose using RoF vs Hellfire.

What Jessicka is referring to is that other specs are catching up on AoE damage with this change, thus Demonology loses it's AoE superiority and becomes the spec with "slightly more AoE power, but worse overall because of it's inability to cleave like the other specs".

Nothing at all, I do it quite happily. However, the effect is significantly less than Affliction or Destruction's capacity to do the same thanks to our Mastery and Demonic Knowledge being so much weaker for the effect - and that's notwithstanding Bane of Havoc and Soul Swap themselves offering the significant quality of life improvement they do for those circumstances with those specs.
