Tought I had a worse connection than that :P
I'm at work and can't post a speed test, but I'm paying for 35 down and 35 up thru Verizon FiOS. This is to accommodate HD TV and 4 people on Warcraft at any given time. Couldn't beat the bundled price for having internet, TV, phone and wireless all packaged together. Cut & pasted from my bill:
FiOS Internet 35/35 89.99
FiOS Internet 35/35 Bundle Discount -1.50
FiOS Internet 35/35 Bundle Discount -58.49
Total Full Month Charges 30.00

I could not hate my internet company more. Slower than 74% of Canada, and I'm in the most densely populated part of the country (but just on the edge of city). On top of this crap, they have probably the worst bandwidth cap I've ever seen. Downloads + Uploads cap is 25GB/month, and $2 per every GB exceeding that. Terrible customer service too, outsources their call centers to India and the techs never do anything about the problem other than reading from their script telling people to unplug all their phones and their modem and then plug them back in one-by-one.
Bell Sympatico, worst internet company ever... and the only option that I have at this location.

Yet one of the best available on Brazil.
Victoria, BC, Canada
Telus DSL - 100 ft from CO. Fibre in house, about 50 ft of copper total (according to installer). Best connection I've ever had. About 70 bucks a month.
I had to post this because I think it's hysterical. This is a speed test result from where I work. What's particularly funny about it is:
1) It's abysmal and I think the slowest posted speed in this thread.
2) I work for a large information technology company just outside of Washington DC in the 'tech corridor'.
ISP name has been removed to save them from embarassment (and me from being fired).
UK sucks so bad for connections..... This is the best I can get for another 12months before they upgrade the exchange
