That worked out well with last years playoffs and this years New Year game. I honestly think it might be a curse for EA Sports to predict your team as the winner.

Also, not too sure about Morrison, but depth was needed at center, at most hes a 3C. Didn't really give anything away for him but a prospect, if need be they can just put him in a package deal for a good D man.

The media needs to lay off him for it. Why should athletes not be allowed to express their political views? What gives the media the right, or the fans for that matter, the right to say that athletes can't publicly express their opinions on politics or other social events?

why leave him alone? it is a team event, he can express his views all he wants, but why do it at the expense of the team. he deserves the grilling he gets.

There is a difference between being a tough physical player and being a classless douche nozzle who's primary intent is to either injure or annoy. Real enforcers and tough guys don't chicken out and run and hide when the game gets tough, they stand up and fight. Avery is just a pussy, he will never amount to anything in the NHL and all his antics are going to get him run over one day and no one in the league will feel sorry for him, except maybe Shanny, since he deserves whatever punishment comes to him from another player. I'd like to see someone deliver a clean hit that winds up dealing Avery a concussion, would be good for the game to have him out for a while.

Oh, I agree 100%. However, Sean Avery isn't the only - as you so eloquently put it - "classless douche nozzle" in hockey. They're part of the game too, and while they are frustrating as hell to play against, you can't deny that forcing another team to take penalties because you have a dickrag like Avery on your team is a feather in your team's cap.

Having said that, in the words of Wade Belak (RIP bud), "I wouldn't piss on him if he were on fire."

Just listened to the dumbest commentating on TSN. The media was mocking Tim Thomas for blaming the media for continuously bringing up the topic of the presidential visit. I agree with Thomas about the media, and I think we can all agree I'm not a Tim Thomas fan.

Ugh, TSN has had the worst fucking commentators for years. Pierre McGuire? I don't usually wish harm on any human being, but I hope he gets into a car accident and bites off his own tongue.

Haha yea i know, if i had the idea to start collecting them when i was younger id have a ton more. It'll fill out a bit more by the end of this season. Next game i go to is vs Dallas on Feb 23rd.

if its canucks stuff you might as well burn it, the ashes would probably be more valuable (than again, seeing as you guys raze your city, you have plenty of ash anyway) . but in all seriousness, you can never have too much hockey stuff.

most of my hockey stuff is functional; equipment, team jerseys (like, for teams i play(ed) on), stuff like that.
i have a little paraphernalia, but ticket stubs? they can't really adorn my walls (well, not without looking tacky), and it's not like they're something people want to come over to see, like a big screen TV or something.

i keep them for the night, and then throw them out on the way home from the game, or something.
