Sounds like you just need to learn how to play a druid in cataclysm. From what you said, it sounded like you were experienced playing one before the healing changes cata brought with it like a plague. You sadly need to just relearn entirely how to heal with your druid. Keep 3 stacks of lifebloom up on the tank at all times, heal with nourish as much as you can for mana efficiency and use healing touch when you need those bigger heals for big hits or when nourish just can't handle it. You don't keep the regrowth hot on your healing target at all times anymore, regrowth is just an emergency heal now.

You just need to get in there and re-learn it, forget everything you knew about druids prior to cata because none of it applies anymore. Healing was destroyed.

Also as others have stated, innervate glyph doesn't increase mana given to you when you use it on yourself. However if there are 2 druids in your raid that both use the glyph, you can use innervates on each other which will increase mana gained by both of you 50%.

Things havent changed that much, it's just now you have to pick the right time to spam your rejuv, rather than blindly covering the raid.

Predicting the big incoming damage and setting up your Rejuvs is the key to playing druid. All Bosses of the current content have some kind of big AoE CD ability. Between the ability you need to relax and conserve mana. Just before the ability you need to prepare and start spamming hots. After the ability you can mop up with other heals if you like.

This concept isnt just for druids, it applies to other healers aswell. Disc Preists do exactly the same thing with shields (well good ones do!).

About Regrowth - I feel that some people are offering you contradictive advice. IF you feel spamming nourish is a good option (IF), there is nothing wrong with using regrowth in preparation for big AoE damage to give you the big Haste boost from talents. That way, if you choose to spam some nourish/HT you will be able to do it faster. If you are lucky then the clearcast procc will fall at the same time so the RG will be free anyway. In terms of pure healing output, you will get much more from continuing hot spam, but thats a personal choice I guess.

I would also comment on the value of spirit. Spirit is obviously required, but doesnt scale with talents. Int is THE promary stat now. It provides Spellpower, Mana Pool, small amount of crit, small amount of regen, and is improved by talents. Im not saying dont take spirit, but dont stack spirit thinking this will solve your mana issues.

Someone commented about overheal. Your overheal should not be too high for your hots. If your Hot Overheal is above 35/40% then you are doing something wrong. Most likely you are spamming rejuv ' Hoping' that people will take damage. Instead you should be spamming rejuv 'knowing' they will take damage.

The only other point id make about mana problems is that Potions are you friend. Concentration pots when you can afford the downtime, and mythical when the fight has no 'breaks'. Time the use of pots with the other mana CDs; Inner, Tide etc.

Ok, the OP asked a question which a lot of people have answered and gave their opinion, but some people are just being way too condescending when giving said opinion.
