(Reuters) - Almost 10 percent of all cancers in men and 3.0 percent in women in western Europe are caused by people drinking too much alcohol, scientists said on Friday.

I know, I agree that people should take responsability themselves, but seeing how drugs are banned and alcohol has been banned before, I wouldn't be surprised if it was banned in the name of saving in healthcare costs or something.

Alcohol has been known since forever to increase the chance of getting certain cancers, and is therefore carcinogen when abused. And 10% of cancers are caused by alcohol? Shows you how irresponsible some people are.
You don't want the cancers you could get by drinking too much alcohol, not at all.

Dude, dont get mad. do u know this is an statistical study not an actual cientifical study (and yes, theres a difference). What im trying to imply is not that alcohol could / couldnt rise ur risk of getting cancer, but that saying as a law that Alcohol IS the only cause for 10% of the people with cancer on Europe is like saying that the only reason ur going to die is cause statistically 100% of people that breath have died at some point.
