I have only downloaded 53% of the patch, and less than hour to go before the beta starts. :/
This takes at least another hour with my internet speed.

had no problem staying connected, but I rebooted my pc in order to solve a g13 gamepad problem and suddenly there are 10.000 files to download. Took me 15min to update... lets see...

Where did you log out with them? It's possible the servers hosting them aren't currently up (Mists maybe? Just guessing here). They said in the AMA that they're working on a solution to prevent the issue of trying to log into a character on a server that's down, (springing them back to the previous server, having a default server if you can't connect, I dunno how they'll handle it), but it's not implemented in BWE2

Daffkeeks: report it, then try mapping out as quickly as you can. If that doesn't work, create a new character and come back to this one in a couple hours to see if you can fix it
