No camera and I not really a photogenic kinda guy :Pshoot some!
The Skeleton angel is a variation of the logo of a band Deathspell Omega and actually a tattoo that I got done by itself. I fell in love with it from the first time I saw it. I`m a very big fan of finding beauty in strange and dark places, dissonent/violent music dark and disturbing art such as Giger. It's mainly a symbol for a foot in the light and a foot in the dark.
I decided I wanted a full back piece in that theme and feeling so I went back to my tattoo artist and bounced around ideas till he came up with this. Ravens for the ill omen and one foot in life and death feel and the cross was a way to tie it to the ground a bit (and we also though it would be cool to give the feeling of the skeleton bursting out of stone). The cross is european influanced because of my scandinavian heratige.
Short version: We will always be present in some form in the world of the living and the world of the dead.
Also, this thread moves fasssst.
I must be heading out as well.

This makes you an honorary e-friend. I've tried to open my mind a little more to what kinds of animals I think may adapt well to living with people, and which I might enjoy. I always dismissed the dumb birds and felt guilty about the intelligent ones. My best friend's parrot fell in love with me, though, and made it pretty clear she was happy with my company. Its just a question of being able to meet her needs. I'd still prefer the snakes, but we don't always get our first choices.
So far, all of my tattoos incorporate them(snakes) in some way. Meaningful critters.
