    Clipping SR & Rip

    Hi guys

I'm new to the kitty world and was wondering if i clipped SR or Rip with a 4cp or less would that refresh those abilities with their original 5cp application? Same for Fb 25%<, would a 4cp or less FB ability refresh a 5cp Rip to its max cp? Or do i always have to have 5cp before clipping any of these ablities?

    Thanks.

Casting a DoT while it is running sets it to the current values or fails to apply. Don't know about kittens, but rogues get a "more powerful already active" error if they try to apply a lower CP Rupture.

FB resets the duration, so it should not change the CP count, though it will update AP bonus to damage.

Always has to be a 5 CP Rip. You should never cast Rip with less than 5 cp unless you haven't got it up you have 4cp and like Atramedes is about to fly away.

Savage Roar just clip whenever you want to keep it up when you have spare cp. You don't even lose that much dps if you never Savage Roar and just FB at 5cp instead. Even sillier after the patch.

    Uhm, well well.

You should never Rip before you got 5 combopoints.
Keep Rake up aswell all the time.

    What goes for clipping DoT's:
You can not clip a 5CP Rip with a 4CP Rip.
You can always clip a Rake.

You can clip a 5CP Rip with a 5CP Rip, but only do it, if there is one tick left. Then it just adds the tick to the refreshed one.
You can clip Rake with one tick left. Samme happens as for Rip goes afaik.

Clipping Savage Roar should be done if you don't have energy for a FB and you will loose Rip. Else FB away.

What goes for FB at or below 25%:

Make sure you got a 5CP Rip up !!
If you FB with 1 or 5 CP does not change the Rip's damage. It refreshes to whatever CP you applied your Rip at.
That means that if you are about to loose Rip <25% then 1 CP FB refreshed Rip to 5CP damage if that was what you applied you Rip at.
If you applied Rip with 3 CP's, then your FB's will refresh to Rip's 3CP damage no matter how many CP's you used to FB.

    Hope it helped you

    Just wondering in this vein:

Refreshing Rip through FB with Tiger's Fury active-> Does the new Rip get the 15% damage buff?

If it does, is it worth holding off your next FB to the last couple of seconds to get as many ticks with the 15% buff, or is the extra damage from blowing FB asap worth the loss of 15% damange on 2-3 ticks?

Ferals get the "more powerful spell already active" error as well, but the only time that really gets annoying is when you prepotted a Tol'vir and can't refresh the bleed before it has already expired.

Also, if you got the four piece. You cant clip rake OR rip if you dont have the stacks (if you applied them when you had 1-3 stacks of strength of the panther) but you cant clip with a 4cp rip against a 5cp rip. Does not compute.

Never rip under 5 points. Ever
