[H] <Fang> 5 years of 25 man recruiting for 5.2 - Fun and proper raiding - 16/16 HC!
Thanks for reading this! Fang is a semi hardcore guild on Kazzak EU recruiting for current content and beyond. We raid 4 days a week during progress and we focus on having fun with the guild while doing serious raiding.
Fangs goal is to get the most out of our raiding days and to be better over time. During Cataclysm we climbed over 1000 spots in the worldwide guild rankings on WoWprogress, and we have no plan of stopping there. With our Deathwing kill marking the finish of Cataclysm, Fang has never been in a better position before new content.
In Mists of Pandaria we've had great success, especially in the very first weeks of the expansion. We've steadily kept producing world 100-150 25 man kills, and want to be in the top 100 for all bosses in T15.
About us
Fang is recruiting more skilled players interested in 25 man raiding. If you don't know anything about end game raiding, then do not apply. Ifyou are however, well geared, active and able to focus and strive to achieve new goals, then do apply. Fang is an old guild with experienced players that has focused on 25 man raids since 2007, with great success.
We are a friendly group of people that enjoy raiding and some have played together for years. We have a relaxed and lively atmosphere in the guild with many colorful personalities. We have a lot of fun together, and it goes hand in hand with quality raiding. We're also serious and expect people to do the best they can do.
What Fang can offer you
- A skilled and dedicated raiding core who cares about their guild.
- A fun time while raiding (HILARIOUS teamspeak situations), our members are usually very social
- A mature guild (most of our members are 18+)
- An extremely stable guild. Fang is a guild which never cancels a scheduled raid, or takes breaks.
Progress
In The Burning Crusade all Tier 5 content was cleared in the period of just 6 weeks, and this impressive progress continued in Tier 6 (Mount Hyjal and Black Temple) which we cleared in just 5 resets. At the end of The Burning Crusade Fang took a minor break, continuing 25 man raiding in Wrath of the Lich King. Since then we have raided continuously, maintaining decent progress and not letting ourselves be stopped by any obstacle.

Mogu'Shan Vaults 6/6
Heart of Fear 6/6
Terrace of Endless Springs 4/4

Expectations from raiders in Fang Teamwork. Raiding is nothing without proper teamwork.
You should be equipped with a positive attitude towards the raid and as well as the raiders, and that is something we value highly. Respect for your fellow guildmates goes a long way, and getting well along with them is essential for keeping any guild up and running.
Sticking together is the way to conquer content, and we are looking for players who are loyal and wishes to properly commit to the guild over a lenghty period of time.
While we are not a world or server first guild and we have a bit more relaxed relationship to raiding, we still expect many of the same standards as more hardcore guilds.
No matter how gifted you might be at your class, and how much attendance you have, you need to deal with wiping. You will have constructive criticism coming your way in most cases. If something about you is lacking, expect to hear about it.
As an applicant for Fang, we expect you to have in-depth insight in how your class and the game works. You should be up to date on your optimal mechanics and gear to release the full potential of your class, and be prepared to optimize your gameplay on each boss beforehand.
You don't need to have experience with all the bosses we kill, but we require you to be able to learn the strategys quickly and by yourself without being told to.
Being a raider in Fang also means you are to communicate perfectly in English, both written and speech.
If any of the following does not apply to you, do not apply to Fang.
- You are a dedicated player who are not afraid of putting effort into progressing.
- You don't constantly fail on the same mechanic, trying to justify it with exuses.
- You know the game and your class well.
- You are persistent with your performance and attendance.
- You see the bigger picture in a guild, and you are not self centered.
- You get along with the rest of the raid group and behave yourself in an orderly manner.
Voicecom, Lootsystem and Raiding times
You need to know your way around using Teamspeak. Know when it's ok to talk and when it's not. Be able to announce what's needed, and do it effectively. Fang uses DKP for handling the loot, where DKP is gained for minutes spent raiding rather than killing bosses. Member over Trial prio. Additionally, officers can interfere to make sure the loot benefits the guild and our progress the most.
Invites start at 18.45 and you need to be online and ready at that time. If we are really close to a kill we will extend the raid, usually we give it half an hour, but we've had the raid go past midnight on rare occasion.
On our off-days we have proper altruns aiming to eventually clear the same content as our mains. Occassionally we make raids for old raids aswell.
As a raider in Fang, we expect you to consistantly participate in all our raids over longer periods. If you can't come regularly these days, and on time, we are not interested.
Make yourself known to Fang's strategies for the bosses we currently raid, and don't slack at registering at the forums to the correct usergroup. Failing on this is not tolerated and leaves a really bad impression. We have guides as to how to set these things up properly.

Fang's webpage: www.fangsters.com - Click apply on the front page, and then "apply here" to be directed to a post on our forums, explaining the application process in greater detail. We expect all applicants to put serious effort into their applications.
You can reach us by messaging on the guild forums or in the game:
We consider almost all classes and specs to strengthen our weaker links, so it's worth applying even if we seem to be full on your class. If the player is good enough, we'll consider making drastic changes to our roster.
Our goal is to progress further and raid more efficiently than ever before, and for that we need players to perform accordingly!
