Merlin (BBC Series) is really good imo. Not too serious though. I also reccomend Sherlock Holmes(BBC Mini-Series) if you liked the intricate plot of Game of Thrones or just enjoy Detective series at all. Breaking Bad is also REALLY good.
Have you considered The Walking Dead? Its not so much a fighting tv series but its a good zombie survival story with characters who actually have a bit of depth to them.
