It does not matter really. Both Tauren and Blood elf is good, noone of them is bad. Taurens get's more hp + stun while blood elf has arcane torrent which both silence and gives you mana.

In my opinion I would say blood elf since the mana you get back from arcane torrent ways up higher then the life that taurens get. You need that mana to stay alive War Stomp and belf silence (without considering the mana gain) is kinda equal.

    Blood elf, hands down
    Alliance 85:Fire/Arcane
    Horde 85: Holy/Retribution Restoration/Elemental Survival/Marksman Restoration/Balance Assassination/Subtlety Shadow/Shadow Unholy/Frost Affliction/Demonology Protection/Arms

Yep, Belf for sure. HoJ into a silence into an interupt = game winning.

Depends really what your team mates are, given the fact that holy paladins really lack any hot's or good lasting absorb effects I'd say go space goat.

This is because of the fact that the hot could keep your team mate alive while you sit through a long CC chain +interrupts.

However if your team mates are classes that are very good at staying alive like feral druids, warriors or very good at CC then that may not be as much of a problem.
In that case id say either blood elf for offensive purposes or human- dwarf for defensive ones. (human extra trinket can be nice & dwarf racial works great when macroed with divine protection.

    This ^ is actually right.

The effects which cause DR are

1: Stuns. like knockdown, HOJ, Tauren stomp etc...
    2: fears/horror effects
3: Shape change effects like poly & hex
4: Incapacitate effects, like repentance, sap etc...

Generally something from one school wont effect the other so having a mix of different ones can allow you to set someone up on a very long CC chain.

The way balancing for WOW PVP works is allot like American politics.
1: Be lazy & ignore problems till the yelling is so loud your cant concentrate.
2: Refuse to do the things you have Said need to be done, then make up reasons why they cannot be done.
3: Lay the blame for problems on someone else even when it's your fault because you did all of the above.
