So after building my computer I was looking through my bios and noticed this:

My question is: I only have one HDD so does this matter at all? Or is my current setup reducing performance of my HDD? Shouldn't it be on Channel 0 master??

Does not matter as long as it's the only HDD installed.

Yeah, it's based on which port you have it plugged into, and even then some boards have them in a weird order. No issues.
