Shield stance change. You're in shield form until you attack.
So, basically if they attack you first, your MASSIVE defense in Shield stance will block most damage.

Seems likely, but you're not that far off. Should be more than useable in the long run.

If you have lower speed, and you use an attack from in Shield Forme, you'll get the full defense. Then next turn, your defenses are litterally wide open for the enemies attack.
If you have higher speed, you attack first an lose your Shield Forme, and take the attack. Then you can have a chance to think the next move through and either switch out, attack, or King's Shield: all theoretically happening before your enemy attacks.

King's Shield is a priority move, so if you're slower, you only take attacks in Shield Forme, always.

Say my Aegislash is faster:

In Sheild Form >> Use Iron Head >> Activates Change Stance prior to attacking putting me in Attack Form >> Attack >> they attack second and i get hit by their attack while frail.

If slower:

In Sheild Form >> Use Iron Head >> They go first hitting me while defences are high >>Activates Change Stance prior to attacking putting me in Attack Form >> Attack >> Next turn can King's Sheild to put me back in form or switch (Can also finish off with Shadow Sneak if possible)

The true problem with this set is its predictability, this allows your opponent free moves to set up, switch etc. This being said, you could use that to your advantage and pop in a sneaky attack while they expect a shield.

King's Shield has increased priority, so you can still use it if you are slower than your opponent.

Turn one, they attack you in Shield Forme, you defend it, then do your own attack. You are now in Blade Forme.
Turn two, you use King's shield, you are now protected for this turn and will be in Shield Forme at the start of turn 3.

Hey guys, question. I wanted an opinion on this Mega Charizard X movelist since there's no clear cut competitive guide for making one yet, but I wanted to share mine for the sake of constructive criticism, so here goes...

Movelist:
-Flame Charge (Fire STAB and to build up speed for sweeping)
-Belly Drum (THE SOLE BUFF AND REASON FOR THIS TO WORK)
-Dragon Claw (Because Outrage is overkill and locks you down)
-Earthquake (Because Earthquake...Enough said)
