Pokémon!

OMG so many new pokemon's since I played Ruby/Sap and so many different mix's like Lighting/Rock and now there is fary's.

I'm positive that there is not a single Electric/Rock Pokémon in the game.

Anyhow. I've wondered for quite a while now why people disliked 4th gen so much but liked 5th gen. I mean, 4th gen had nice Pokémon in it, and the story wasn't that bad at all. It felt like a sequel to 3rd gen (Hoenn<3) somehow.

5th gen's biggest turn-off for me was the graphics... Sure, overall it looked better than all the previous games combined, but the sprites of your Pokémon in battle were the worst since 1st gen. Big deal that they moved in battle when every image of your Pokémon in battle was not very sharp. Anyone else with me here?

I don't particularly like the design of pokemon of gen 4. 12 legendaries being the first bump. I don't mind some legendaries, especially with some story, but 12? Zzzzz...
Also a huge amount of new evolutions of old pokemon (or pre-evolutions). A lot of them feel forced and just plain wrong to me, with lickilicky taking the cake.

LOL I'm sure there isn't but I was like wtf when I see a floating rock fish use a water ability. I just notice some types have other types of abilitys.

I'm old I'm use to the if its water it has water abilitys lol.

Also before you could just look at them and know there type now its hard to tell lol.

It was Relicanth. I should have knew since it looks like a fish but I was like wtf lol. I am a bit rusty on the pokemon games clearly lol.

I always tough that most people tough gen4 was very bad, and most people enjoyed gen3? I haven't played either - So I can't tell. I actually tough about buying gen3, since it does play on 3DS But maybe its abit to dated now, to not be that fun.

I disagree about a lot of them feeling forced, many of the Pokemon really had potential but were underwhelming in their original generations - Gligar, Murkrow, Misdreavus, Togetic, Piloswine etc. (lolgen2)

Dusknoir and Rhyperior take the cake as being the least neccessary, that and all the four babies they added in that really werent neccessary at all...

Gen 4's major issue was the balance of the new Pokemon though i'll agree. Too many legendaries, too many evolutions of old Pokemon, not enough inbetween. They'll never live down Ponyta being the only wild catchable Fire type in Pearl/Diamond or the horrible use of Pokemon types in Gyms/Elite 4 outside their respective types.

Great, it was useful before. 120 might be a bit overkill though, 100 seemed more fitting.
