How to turn off ANNOYING adds on MMO?

Logged in today and was reading some posts and out of no where sound starts blaring out of my speakers. Scroll around and find some ad at the bottom of the page. Had a pause button so no big deal yet...

continue browsing and happens again, and again, and finally another ad loads in with no turn off option blaring some BS about kitchen ware.

There a way to turn this crap off? I come here for mmo related stuff not to have ads shoved into my brain unless I click on them!

I am in the same boat, I do not mind the ads, it is the loud blaring sound that comes with it that annoys me. =(

I was able to hit the sound all the way down/off quickly enough and it does not seem to blare anymore, even when I switch pages.

if you use chrome get ad block+ or just adblock and it'll help a lot. No more annoying pop ups on any website, not just mmo-champ.
