It's good that people are naming other characters they like instead of just circlejerking over Tyrion, Jon and Dany because pretty much the entire cast is ridiculously well written. That Red Viper scene in SoS. You know the one.

I do feel bad for Theon Greyjoy though, they made his role in the TV show even less significant than it was in the first book haha.

I'm pretty sure Theon actually gets more screentime in the first season than in the first book. You've got the scene with Osha and Luwin, for example.

Jaime and Tyrion are tied for me at this point (only on book 4). Not a fan of any house in particular but Jaime and Tyrion are not what they ever seem.

Aye. Deplorable or not, Ramsay is one hell of a compelling villain. I mean, Joffrey made me want to hit him, but Ramsay makes me want to go rock quietly in a chair and hope he goes away.

I dont actually like any house fully as all of them have more or less annoying characters, namely Bran/Cate/Theon (read GoT & CoK)
Daenerys is like by far the best character though. After her Arya->John->Tyrion.
I kinda stopped reading Clash of Kings due so many chapters of Catelyn, Bran and Theon.

Arya, Tyrion, Jon would probably be my fav's as the obvious ones..

For secondary characters Jojen is a pretty great & generally overlooked character.. Syrio is a badass and also clearly awesome, Melisandre while pretty unlikable is totally necessary to spice up the boredom that is Stannis & also a very interesting char.

Sansa is almost tragically naive. Being the father of 3 teenage girls, I get her "stupidity." But she's learning (albeit slowly).

Characters I loathe: All Boltons and Freys. Most Iron Islanders (although I enjoy their story). Asha and Victarion being the exemptions as they rock. Joffrey and the bitch that bore him.

I like where they left off with Sansa, was a lil disappointed she wasn't in ADWD
