Introducing the WoW Token
Coming soon to an Azeroth near you: the WoW Token, a new in-game item that allows players to simply and securely exchange gold and game time between each other.

Players will be able to purchase a WoW Token through the in-game Shop for real money, and then sell it on the Auction House for gold at the current market price. When a player buys a WoW Token from the Auction House for gold, the Token becomes Soulbound, and the player can then redeem it for 30 days of game time.

  • The WoW Token feature will be enabled at a future date. Patch 6.1.2 adds in the framework needed for the WoW Token feature in the game client and is not active at this time. In the meantime, check out this FAQ for details on how the feature works.

Every player in WOD content sets up a garrison so I don't see the problem with the wording. If/when you run into some mandatory garrison stuff that stops you from progressing the story lets us know.

Maybe I'm mistaken but Garrosh is not the son of THIS Grommash. And how did Gul'dan even know?

A pretty good cinematic though, Gul'dan truely is this expansions only redeeming factor.

Bit strange to have Kilrogg - who has had pretty much 0 characterisation throughout the 6.0 content - come out of the blue and drink the blood without any motivation or even a line to speak. Though Guldan is definitely a good villain.

Does anyone know if you can replay this cinematic in your garrison?

Probably, the other cinematics can be replayed from an npc in the town hall.

You're not mistaken. We are in seperate timeline where Garrosh does not have a son. Still that doesnt make him stop thinking of our Garrosh as his own flesh and blood.

They better do something about all these orcs. The cinematic itself is ok but i'm really really tired with the story revolving around orcs all these years. Green orcs, red orcs, yellow orcs, black orcs it's like a fugly pokemon parade...

that's the thing, he didnt know untill gul'dan brought him Gorehowl and said "what about your son", you can clearly hear grommash say "my, son?" as in a question, before he sees the truth and realizes that garrosh actually was his son.

Oh so Grommash turns face, gets gorehowl #3 and Gul'dan controlls the horde...this whole "alternate time line" in a "what if" story is very surprising, I totally will be taken by complete surprise if we find out that Ner'zul's body is destroied but his essence lives on and WoD ends with Grommosh making the "ultimate sacrafice" saving us and thrall while we escape as Gul'dan destroies Dreanor.

    totally new and interesting twist..

    ....

Also did I miss the parts where instead of telling us, they show that Garrosh and Grommash grew so close that Grommash would take the word of Gul'dan that Garrosh is his son and not immediately think "oh it's this nut case again, he's probably trying to trick me into doing something stupid or drinking the mt dew because the word of warlocks channeling Palapatine who's own people betrayed him and we used to power the dark portal can totally be trusted"? Or why Killrogg "I had less characterization than Grommash" Deadeye turned spikey, grey and glowing tats when drinking the Mt Dew but gul'dan didn't...other than more familiar imagry to play on nostalgia?

Well, Blizz released the cinematic with his death ~1 month before the xpac even went live. Then If you played through Nagrand you got it again. So...kind of on the day of launch? I'm sure some people got through Nagrand by the end of that day.

    No words. So epic.

Finally, Gul'dan as I've wanted him all expansion. Right there, being his devious self. We've seen pieces but now I finally get to see him BAM! right there! Amazing!

You people honestly think that the Garrosh... My son? line is his surprise that Garrosh is his son, no it's that he is dead, and do you really think that Garrosh would of been able to get Grom to trust him to not drink the blood and to give him leadership over the Warsong Clan and give him Gorehowl without letting him in on the fact that Garrosh was Grom's son, and do you guys forget that they did have Gu'Dan prisoner powering the Dark Portal and that he was one of the warlord's before he became pro demon, which they show in the comic they released before the launch of 6.0, Gul'Dan was a trusted Orc Warlord for the Iron Horde, one of the most powerful and a big player, of course he knew all this because it was already told off screen, if you really think Grom is jsut going to trust a dude with the axe that is his entire Clan's legacy then your nuts, he was just surprised to hear that his son was dead

I really hope they doesn't just use him to a Plot device to get players the Ring.
indeed it could but they said it won't be JUST an orc, meaning it won't be just some random orc we only encountered in WoD, might be we finaly face Grom.

Kilrogg has seen his death. Maybe he wants to stop Gul'dan and knows that he has to drink the demon blood for that. Maybe not. He was one of the first to drink the blood in the original timeline anyway.

mate trust me, Grom's reaction is of someone who just THEN realized the implication of Garrosh death. First he discovered he's dead, which he probably doesn't give 2 flying pigs about it, he could easily replace him with another orc for warchief of the warsong clan, but when Gul'dan tells him that Garrosh was in fact HIS SON, now shts got real, the killing of THAT orc became something personal. Obviusly he knew, in the back of his head, that Garry was familiar to him but didn't know he was his son. You are nuts to think that you could go to the past, meet your father and tell him you're his son, even though he doesn't have any kids since HE KILLED YOUR MOTHER (sorry for the comparison, but in WoD's timeline, Grom killed his mate, thus Garrosh was never born on this timeline). Garrosh would be killed if he even attempted to say he was his son.

And you honestly believe such epic confronation when garrosh assumes he his Grom's son would not be portraied in game? If we haven't seen it before, not in game nor in books/comics, it's easy to assume he never told him.

The question, now, is how did Gul'dan knew about this? It wasn't garrosh who told him, that's for sure, GArrosh didn't trust him in the 1st place
