World of Warcraft - Raid Strategy Guide - Operator Thogar

Known more for his cruelty and cleverness than for brute strength, Thogar oversees the operation of the Grimrail. From the Foundry's depot, he coordinates the ongoing ground battle against the draenei in Talador, with entire batallions of troops and artillery at his beck and call.

• Overview - Trains periodically pass through the encounter area, dropping off troops or providing support for Operator Thogar.

    • Move away when Siege Bombs are fired at you.
    • Interrupt Cauterizing Bolt.
  • Healers -
    • Iron Horde Man-at-Arms' Iron Bellow inflicts raid-wide damage.
    • Tanks with high stacks of Enkindle take significant damage.
  • Tanks -
    • Be ready to grab the attention of any reinforcement troops.
    • Swap off tanking Thogar when Enkindle stacks.
• Operator Thogar -
  
  • Enkindle - Sets the target ablaze, inflicting Fire damage, additional Fire damage every second, and increasing damage taken by Enkindle by 35% for 25 sec. This effect stacks.
  • Prototype Pulse Grenade - Throws a prototype grenade at a target location, pulling in nearby targets over until cancelled, inflicting 27,750 Nature damage every second.
  • Berated - Berate allies, increasing damage done by 5%, haste by 5%, and movement speed by 10%, and reducing casting time by 3%. This effect stacks.

    • Shoot Rifle - Shoots at an enemy with a ranged weapon, inflicting Physical damage.

    • Serrated Slash - Slashes the target with a serrated axe, inflicting Physical damage and causing the target to bleed for 6 sec.
    • Throw Grenade - Tosses a grenade at a location, inflicting Fire damage to enemies within 6 yards of the destination.
  • Grom'kar Firemender -
    
    • Cauterizing Bolt - Cauterizes the wounds of a target and allies within 5 yards, immediately inflicting 5% of their total health in damage, then restoring up to 8% of their total health over 10 sec. A greater majority of this healing occurs quickly.
    • Lava Shock - Blasts a nearby target with lava, interrupting casts and inflicting periodic Fire damage over 3 sec.
    • Throw Grenade - Tosses a grenade at a location, inflicting Fire damage to enemies within 6 yards of the destination.

    • Iron Bellow - Lets forth a massive roar, inflicting Physical damage to all enemies.
    • Reckless Slash - Charges a target, inflicting Physical damage to units within 7 yards of the impact location.
