As long as it has the appropriate age ratings so that kids don't get ahold of it (i know... but you have to at least pretend to try) then its no worse than it ever was... people whine about anything... the people complaining probably don't even play games in general and are just looking to sensor more crap with the overly PC society we live in. At most, he's much too shallow a character to last long. Hell, the robots from Portal 2 Co-op seem to have more depth than Duke.

What makes the whole dead space 2 thing funny to me is there was a game released 3 years ago or so that had giant flying babies that ate people, and you had to kill them.
