    Yes and no.

I use clampys weakauras. he has an aura for frenzy to show when it has 5 stacks but it does not show up.
Azors weak auras never show up. even if i use ff the general cd ff of azor does not show up but it should.

    - - - Updated - - -

I deleted campys 5 stacks frenzy and added an own symbol for 5 stacks frenzy and it works.
Dont know whats wrong with the original.

Azors WA is supposed to show when a certain set of conditions are met, meaning it's optimal to use it then

Okay so having a quick issue here, and I dont know how to fix it, hopefully u guys will. When trying to import this string, i type /wa then click on import. It brings up the paste bin, and i paste it all to there. Then it brings up a list of everything that ur importing. Now at the bottom of this Im suppose to click Import again. Problem is. there is so much stuff in this weak aura, i am not about to even see or click that import button.. Any ideas? thanks

THIS IS AWESOME, I am a returning player. A lot of the addons which I used to use aren't being updated anymore like the JS hunter addon. This is a great solution for that I hope he keeps it updated !

I'm seeking a WA string for trap duration timers. I'd like to ditch the KHT addon, which I only use for that purpose.

I need the string to start a 60 sec timer when the trap is cast, and eliminate the timer if the trap is triggered, and then show the duration of the triggered trap. Ive done extensive searching and have not found it anywhere. I'm not sure if it will be possible to create in WA. Any help is appreciated.

I spent way too much time trying to do this and failing, mainly because I can't figure out how the game creates the trap and how to reference it in a trigger. It's going to have a unique ID every time because multiple hunters can drop the same trap and the game has to distinguish it, so all there is the trap-creating spell, and I can't seem to figure out the trap-triggering spell.

I don't think you can do it for frost trap, but for the others you can just use a combat log event of them taking damage/getting icechunked

You might be able to do the frost trap one if you force WA to search the full combatlog for enemy debuffs and specifically the frost trap debuff. There will possibly be some delay between trigger, ground effect becomes active and debuffs are applied. But this delay should be decreased in WoD with the faster action processing.

I would try and create a WA for this now but I don't have WoW installed on my uni laptop. Also got a Beast Cleave WA which I'll post when I get home.

Inelegant, but viable solutions, I guess. No one knows how to track the temporary lifespan of the trap created? Technically it's in the same category of "created" items like totems, but you can actually target totems. Traps are targetable too, though, by rogues....hmmm.

Wasn't able to create a reliable trap detection WA w/o setting my game on fire :|. Might be my ineptitude regarding WA/lua programming.

  16. #96
Honestly, it might be really easy with TMW. I'll look into that too, but right now, I can't for the life of me find a way to track the actual trap. Interesting problem though.

  17. #97
Kharthus somehow did it with his addon. If he could do it, somebody else should be able to.

I looked at KHT, and basically what he does is search the combat log for a string match with the spell name of the trap dealing damage. This would probably be really memory intensive in a weak aura, does that addon lag you at all? I can still try and mock it up if you want.

I don't notice any lag with the addon, but I could just be oblivious to it.

What I'm really curious about is how he detects the primed trap launch.

That's the easy part, it's just tracking your own casting of a trap, through combat log.
