Yep, 100. Should be "easy" enough. [snicker] As long as he doesn't sleep with two 10s.

Those weren't exactly healthy-looking girls. But you really should work on that projecting.

I don't know. It's hard to tell if they're unhealthily skinny or not from just those pictures. Some Asian girls really are extremely lightweight. It does make me feel weird about it. Like I'm 4'11" and about 125-128 lbs in pro athlete shape and deep brown skinned, and the idealized Asian girl is literally paper thin and porcelain skinned. Makes me feel like I'm a malfunctioning Asian chick or something.

It may be a bit less dangerous than you expect. Chinese interior walls tend to be made of brick, fairly thick, and reinforced with steel. Exterior walls are even more solid.

Most of the heating here uses radiators. Wall mounted radiators like that are a bit easier to avoid blocking, so it gives you a bit more room. It gets fairly cold in many parts of China, so they may want to be able to set close to the heat. My radiators are not as large and they're mounted more conventionally, but they're designed to create columns of heated air that are deflected into the room. They're viciously efficient and I spend most of the winter with some or all of them turned off. If I had that kind of radiator, a couch under it would probably be pretty comfortable in January and February
With COVID-19 making its impact on our lives, I have decided that I shall hang in there for my remaining days, skip some meals, try to get children to experiment with making henna patterns on their skin, and plant some trees. You know -- live, fast, dye young, and leave a pretty copse. I feel like I may not have that quite right.

You can do it in the US too, you just have to turn the paper sideways.

And given that a piece of paper is usually only 2.5 inches wider than it is long, that's a good thing.

A bigger size than that isn't 'obese'. A few pounds overweight isn't either, nor does it mean that you're unhealthy. What matters is what type of fat it is, and if you eat healthy, and your body is in decent shape.

Even besides that, not everyone prefers 'skinny' models.

And you can be unhealthy while being thin, when you eat wrong, and don't exercise. Anorexia is also unhealthy. Weight gets unhealthy when it's both a lot over, AND below average weights, which varies depending on body types and builds, and even then it's from XXkg to XXkg.

Point being that you don't know wtf you're talking about, you talk from preference.

I don't think it's really a cultural thing, Chinese girls are mostly doing a bad imitation of what they see in Japanese and Korean pop culture, which in turn is a bad imitation of Western fashion. But it is sort of a universal thing that delicate and fair skinned women tend to set beauty standards because it's the look of someone who doesn't have to work for a living and is therefore upper class. Western societies have somewhat moved away from that because affluence now means having the means to eat healthy food and the free time to work out, but I don't think Asia has quite caught onto that one yet.

And I dun think it will change in near future, it's been like this for thousands of years. Many things have changed about Asian (Chinese in particular, can't say much about other countries) beauty standards, but white skin stands stronk baifumei (白富美) is the most desired archetype of a perfect girl.

No one here can tell if those women are malnourished or if they are unhealthy in anyway. You can't even tell how tall they are let alone how much they eat per day, how long they exercise, or how fast their body metabolizes anything. You really can only tell from these pictures that these women 1. Have cameras. 2. Can place paper in front of them. And he'll you don't even know if the entire photos were completely faked and photoshoped just to troll and get reactions like the ones in this thread. If your not someone's personal physician you really have no place to say these women are unhealthy compared to any other individual or weight class.

I think Macaquerie has a point. If you work outside you tan, rich women stay indoors and are pampered. If you see Chinese girls at college in the US, they're wearing SPF 500 and carrying umbrellas to block the sun.

are they healthy or not argument aside, I'm more fascinated by OP's description of his girlfriend beauty kit. I thought I was bad, but apparently not... at least not compared to OP's girlfriend / daughter. what.. in a world is in it? or do you have smaller then average shelf space?

I think for China especially, part of the extreme obsession with beauty and fashion these days is a sort of backlash against the socialistic image of Chinese women as these frumpy factory workers. In a way, it was actually rather high-minded of the government bureaucrats to try and craft a feminine ideal that prioritized toughness and industry over glamour and elegance, but that shit was never going to fly in the long run, especially since it bred a massive inferiority complex when these girls compared themselves to their counterparts in Japan, Korea, or even Taiwan and Hong Kong and wanted to emulate their styles. Hell, that probably goes for the boys as well.

    Yeah no.
Don't assume all women are like you alleged "girlfriend."
There are plenty of women out there who don't resort to such lengths to spice up their beauty. If anything it looks bad on you that she isn't comfortable in her own skin and has to use all these products.

Well, that's what I said. I was talking about this standard fading away in the future (last sentence in his post).

I would think the women in china don't have to try this hard being that women are more rare in china.
