Starting new job at Recycling Manufacturing Factory

So I landed a job at a manufacturing factory as a waste sorter on a conveyor belt. My question is, how quick do I need to be when it comes to taking items off the conveyor that aren't recyclable? This question is mainly aimed at people who have had similar experience in a role. I just want to ease my mind and not have to worry about fucking up or not being quick enough. The recruiter said the only problem I'll face is motion sickness but I'm pretty good with handling that sort of thing.

Good questions to ask the person that's going to train you. You might not find someone here in a similar line of work that isn't trying to pull your leg before your first day.

Yeah I'm prepared for the leg pullers but I figured asking in here wouldn't hurt. I'm sure it's not going to be that bad but the mind tends to exaggerate things.

Why not just ask your employer instead of a game forum ?

When googling 4 letters is asking too much fact-checking.

Because I will be doing so when I start. I'm just simply asking a question here for the time being because I'm curious.

There's probably a team of people who pick out the unrecyclable stuff? If so you can let a few items go and let your teammates pick them out. If it's just you, sounds like they don't expect you to do a good job, unless the belt moves real slow.
