Please try that, then tell us how the place reacts when you whip out what they will see as a weapon.

I keep seeing adds for both titanium and titanium coated knives. Are these any good? I just feel like having a specially treated blade would just render it unservicable, thereby shortening the operational lifespan of the knife.

    titanium handle - yes

    titanium blade - definitely no.

I've never felt the need to carry a knife so no.

TY. That's more or less what I expected. Gimmick for charging 40 dollars for what would otherwise be 5 dollars worth of knife, lol.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't be allowed to own guns, I have a restricted permit myself, it just means you shouldn't make obviously poor comparisons - between the risk from muscular people, cars, knives - versus guns. There is a difference that you need to respect, guns aren't toys or tools, they are only ever weapons.
    Wow...someone actually gets it.

Yeah, a kershaw skyline folder. Useful little thing, lightweight, durable and holds a stupidly sharp edge for a good while.
And to those who wonder what you need a knife for - some people lead a more active lifestyle than others. Sure, no one needs it if you're just going to the supermarket, but just putting it in your pocket becomes a habit when you sometimes do need it.

And it's no fun having all the toys if you have no friends to play with.

Moments like this that I realize that a lot of people in other countries don't seem to realize how large and populated the US is..
Some states are larger than some countries in Europe.

It's moments like this where I'm amused that people from other countries claim that everyone else in the world hates the united states but they all want our help.

What other things is the US "best" at? Why don't you brag about them?

Remember, we are not judged by what we're best at, but by what we're worst at.

    *shrugs*
Most people in the US tend to ignore the opinions of other countries (good or bad) that we give money to.
