No it wasn't. Patch 4.0.1 increased gold cap from 214K (214,748g 36g 46c, exactly) to 999,999g.

And you said it was 999.999 in Wrath without a qualifier. It wasn't 999.999 until the Cataclysm pre-patch, which isn't Wrath anymore.

Again, there is no max bid on BMAH, but there is a 5% (slightly less) minimum bid margin, so nowadays the max gold you can hold is 1 mil minus 1 copper, so 953.000 is enough to bid cap, since the following bid would have to be exactly 1.000.000; in legion the cap will be 10 mil minus 1 copper, so the minimum to bid cap will be 9.530.000, which obviously a lot less people will have.

Ah, right, and yes, very few classes can solo garrosh mythic already, not many will solo it in 7.0 unless it's a super nerf like the one we had in 6.0.

To be honest however, I think you realise that you can get NOW blackhand boosts for 200k and archimonde for 1 mil or something like that, so going to pay 9,53 mil in legion seems just silly or a clear signal that the bidder didn't play wod.

Same as you could get garrosh mythic mount boost for 150k in mop and now it will always get capped (953k that is, not the new cap) in bmah and reasonably so, based on the time it takes to clear mythic soo every time and on the fact it's not fully soloable.

??? HFC heroic carries with mount and personal loot are already down to 30k in trade chat on my server. I've never paid for a carry, but it's becoming something any casual player can afford. Why wait to buy mount in BMAH?

To try to control the rise of gold i can only imagine that the cap would go up as well. So more cry baby posts about people putting caps on mounts and toys soon as they are listed on that other thread for legion.

Like someone said I was talking about mythic, and yes, it's a miracle if you find blackhand mount at less than 200k and archimonde mythic at less than 1 mil, but still I never said to wait and buy mount in bmah, it's gonna be more expensive, I said it's better to buy boost now, and if someone ends up paying millions for those, especially blackhand in legion, it's pretty obvious he didn't play wod.

It's possible that some BMAH items that currently go for 1M now, could end up going for less, as people just bid 1M to ensure they win, won't bid 10M, and may end up winning the same item fo 700-800k

I paid for the BH mount carry...before they got cheap and it was 300k...they can be had for about 150k now because raiders can do it like 3-4 times on their geared alts now instead of the once or twice they could 6 months ago.

The 1mil for the Arch mount is a bit stiff...I had budgeted in buying it, but thinking about it, I really don't think any mount is worth 1mil to me, especially one that isn't really exceptional.

1mil for a 13/13 carry and all loot and no mount made a lot more sense...get mythic caches and better geared the char can farm a lot faster and make back some of the gold...also all the achieves are on a before legion date...plus the FoS achieves...

Anyways, some rich people will buy mounts because that is all there is in this game to buy.

I'm most likely done with paying for carries if the gold cap goes to 10mil as with the way mythic is now, it is hard to get a carry and even harder to get a mount carry.

I really think 10/25H was MUCH easier and cheaper as the way to get mounts/gear carries...sucks that Blizz went with only 20 mythic

Well, I'd really like to see which guild sells it for 150k, because as the cheapskate I am, I have 11 mil and will totally go to the guild selling BH mount at 150k rather than the 200k one, but I've never seen anyone selling it for less than 180k and that was ally bronze dragonflight (eu).
