Computers - Build of the Month
Each month or so we will post a couple of hardware setups for those of you who are thinking of upgrading their computer!

    This month
New GPUs with significant performance improvements are on the way from Nvidia! The GTX 1080 ($600) and GTX 1070 ($380) will be available at the end of May and middle of June, but it may take a little longer for them to be available everywhere. If you aren't in a hurry, these are worth waiting for. The Intel 6600K has integrated graphics you can use while you wait (not for gaming) or you may be able to reuse your old graphics card. Benchmarks from independent reviewers should be released in a few weeks.

The current SSD prices are fairly flat right now, with most SSDs under $0.50 per gigabyte when on sale.

Depending on how much you want to overclock, you may need to spend a bit more for a better CPU cooler like the NH-D15.

Unless you are doing a lot of video rendering or streaming, you do not need the 6700K and should spend that money elsewhere.

Make sure to keep your AMD and Nvidia drivers up to date.

The Corgi Pup is listed as being on that vendor.

Pretty cool for them to release some music snippets. Horns and Drums is what the fans have heavily requested and Ramin Djawadi delivered 'the feels'. Thank you for sticking to the current palette. Lok'Tar Ogar. In the future it would be cool to hear more deep drum and bass crashes. You know the booms and bangs

You can honestly game on the high end consumer market integrated graphics theise days.
Of course will A GPU be far better, but you can most definitely play WoW, LoL and all that jazz whilst keeping a >fair< framerate.

Oh look, a movie using ingame models would have looked just fine, even amazing with a movie budget.

I thought jews made good economic choices?

Laughing out loud out loud? And no, it doesn't, but you're really cool and edgy to say so...

Didn't know Ramin Djawadi made the music for the movie. Really like his work on Game of Thrones and Pacific Rim.

    another trailers..

and one thing is clearly from day to day..

the story looks boring in warcraft!

Is there any way to know if the WOW version in the side by side was using the game camera to make the Machinima, or...and this is where it gets weird - did Duncan Jones try to recreate the in-game camera, to match the game?

The would go a long ways to explaining how it looks "off" to me.

But I don't know shit about movie lenses and such - anyone who does, thoughts?

The movie and game assets match up too well, one side had to tweak a lot to do it.

I really don't get what metric people are using to say the movie looks terrible. It looks like every other blue-wall CGI movie out there. Most of which are incredibly popular.

2014 Gamergate: "If you want games without hyper sexualized female characters and representation, then learn to code!"

i like how the vid its about comparing in-game cutscenes with a movie and not real cinematics like vanilla opening (for saying something i remember not using in-game graphics)

Doesn't quite sound like warcraft music TBH.
Too much trumpet, too little everything else.

It sounds like it is supposed to sound challenging and threathening, but it falls short.
