q - Interrupt
e- taunt or debuff/ranged attack for pulling
Q is interrupt
E is different for different classes, my paladins HoP is on E, warrior execute, hunter disengage etc.
Probably gonna vary a lot with pretty much everyone on what they have keybound here and there.
Personally, I have my AoE abilities on Q and E, works nicely for me with my particular setup.
Q - Collossus Smash
E - Defensive ability
Generally I have 'oh crap' buttons tied to them. E for example is ice block, vanish or paladin bubble depending on what I'm playing. Q is cloak of shadows/invisibility and I forget what on my paladin. I have A and D for strafing and turn with my mouse. Z is usually what I use for potions.
Interupts are kept on a mouse button.
I used to bind Water Shield to Q. Now, it's interrupt.
Q is my 'speed' button, so sprint / displacment beast / death's advance / angelic feather / blink / etc
E is my taunts if tank, or big cool downs otherwise.
G is for my PVP trinket / every man for himself
V is for my inturrupts
R is for any self heals I have
(WoW 1.12.1)
Warrior: q=zerg stance, e=mortal strike (or heroic strike)
Priest: q=unbound, e=wand
Warlock: q=unbound, e=wand
Shaman: q=grounding totem, e=stormstrike (or lightning bolt)
Mage: q=mana shield, e=wand
Hunter: q=intimidation, e=hunter's mark
Paladin: q=cleanse, e=judgement
Rogue and druid i never played much.
Strafe, wtf is that question.
Yea strafe. A and D are still for turning when my mouse hand is occupied.
Something I need pretty regularly. Like Interupt/Sacred Shield on my Prot Pally.
Strafe + Keyboardturn on QE and AD is not really needed so I bound Strafe on A and D. Turning with the Mouse is superior anyways.
interrupt and 'oh crap' abilities look to be the best way to go.
I bind Q to execute type ability and E to the most used ability.
Another interrupt at Q here. E is for different utility abilities which are all gone in Legion, so this one will be free. Have to start keyboard turning again I guess
