It's really not complicated: freedom of speech only becomes an issue when it comes to people expressing views you don't like in places you don't think they should be allowed to

Not at all surprising, unfortunately. Social media sites have been doing this sort of thing for a while. It's not even a matter of someone necessarily being a 'Conservative' either - anyone who expresses vocal acknowledgement of the problems surrounding political correctness or immigration is at risk of being censored or drowned out. To some extent it arguably even takes place on this site.

The stances presented in this thread that I was referring to has been with an assumption that it was for their political stances. Whether or not that is actually the case doesn't change what values people hold about the hypothetical. Paying attention to the thread is as important when responding as paying attention to the specifics of the OP.

The reason why freedom of speech in companies is restricted is to provide customers with a more friendly environment. If I have a store for Jewish people and someone kicks in screaming nazism ideas I would kick the guy out of the store.

Hey, it's refreshing to see the MMO-C mod team actually be up front about their censoring opinions they don't like for once. Of course, in terms of visitors and thus business, censoring opinion inevitably drives people to go elsewhere.

Authoritarians and varying types of socialists (Who are almost all authoritarian these days anyway) seem content to just go through life destructively, with no regard for what they do. If they are even aware of it. It makes me pretty sad. But then again, there are limits to what one can expect of the psychological development of anyone on an MMO fansite, including mods. I suppose I'm the fool for expecting any attempts at even-handedness.

Not sure why you think commenting on her looks strengthens any arguments against her actions. It's rather childish behavior. Most people grew out of that after leaving elementary school. You apparently haven't. Oh well.
