Why doesn't Garona look bad?

But why would she look human? She is part orc, part draeni, no human there. Other than little tiny tusks, she looks 100% human.

The Gathering is the 23th installment of the World of Warcraft comic. The story has been written by Walter and Louise Simonson and was released 2009. There they say that she looks surprisingly human.

Maybe it's the special genetic mix that removes all the typical traits from orcs and draenei and only leaves the humanoid ones. Fact is, that the movie just follows the lore when depicting her looking like a female human with tiny tusks and pointy ears. She was on the cover of the comic "Conflicting Loyalities" and there she also looks very human just with white/pink Draenei eyes:

So the thing missing in the movie is her having glowing/white eyes:

But having glowing eyes makes it hard to read any emotions except rage.

Personally I think it's just that she's not muscular enough. I always envisioned Garona as basically a mini She-Hulk. Not green human with tusks.

Garona is not an Orc. She is a half breed bred to seduce and infiltrate. Kinda hard to do if you are ugly. Also you can't be serious about putting a female character in to attract females to the movie. Garona is a huge part of the story of the First War from the time it was written in game.

If you look at the shape of the face, it is not a bad match really. The actress doesn't carry quite the muscle I would have expected but I still think they did a decent job with the casting all around.

Eh, I kinda feel that Movie Garona is pretty terrible looking imo. Saw some of the trailers and her mini-tusks kinda just stick out like someone put toothpicks in. It looks absurdly lazy, but they were stuck between a rock and a hard place with the character to begin with.. Garona is a mess.
