Around 500k ish, perhaps a little more. Not much, but enough to get most necessities..
Since I got into alpha long time ago now, I haven't played much attention to the live server - a BG every now and then, and the weekly wpvp event is about it

A little over 6.2 million, and thats after buying all but 4 of the TCG mounts, blackhand mount, challenge mode gold, and 3 years of gametime tokens. Never had more than 200k before this expac, but with 17 maxxed out garrisons with treasure hunters and salvage yards.....well I now have alot more than 200k. I have it spread between 2 servers 4.6 mill on 1 server and 1.6mill on the other. I plan on saving the 1.6 mill on the other server for more gametime when my 3 years runs out so the 4.6 mill is fun money.

not 1 mil+, 2.5 mil+, 5 mil+, not 10 mil+, 25 mil+ ect

It does detract from the poll though since currently 21% of people are in the #1 spot, and we can only wonder how much difference there is in those coffers

3 million + is a pretty niche category already. How many people do you know that have 10, 20, 50, 100 million gold? Probably not much. Hence, 3 million + weeds out the barley millionaires, and it also groups the people who have less gold into nice even categories.

Seven Alliance characters share slightly above 400k.
Four Horde characters share a bit more than 100k.

Total: I'm in a 500k - 1M range.

Not counting my alt server with 4 or 5 alt-alts that combined have around 100k.

Also, what will be your gold amount by the end of WoD?
Probably around 750k as recently I only log in, do garrison missions and log off. And even that every few days so my total income is rather low/day. I don't have incentive to amass more gold as I feel I have more than I need.
