Ugh im so fed up with Lindsay Sterling.
She rode this big wave of geek fandom from her zelda covers dressed up in full link garb but honestly shes really not that great and that imagine dragons cover is freaking awful.

I think that's good but I find the original to be better.
IMO Disturbed's version of Sound of Silence is much better then the original.
Original
Both are amazing tho.
Also Disturbed's version of Land of Confusion is much better then the original and there video doesn't creep me out like the original.
Original

The problem with Disturbed's version is that it loses the zeitgeist the original had just from being one of the anthems of the anti-Vietnam 60s (even though that's not what it was directly about). It was about an inability to communicate, to love, to listen to each other, and so on.
Disturbed's version is just trying to be edgy and dark. Like someone said earlier, it rings hollow.
Op the cover sounds terrible, it sounds like hes about to puke a couple times in the beginning.
Here a couple covers I think are better than the original:
Normally I'm not a fan of heavier/metally stuff, but Disturbed's cover of Sound of Silence is WAY better than Simon and Garfunkel's.
Nope. I think the more modern electronic sounds of the original fit the theme of the song better.
Human progress isn't measured by industry. It's measured by the value you place on a life.
Just, be kind.
Shhhhh, she's doing magical trig bullshit trig substitutions
Pretty powerful rendition. The video was/is very potent. I believe even Trent Reznor had only good things to say about it.
With regards to the OP:
Lindsey is ridiculously talented and I do like several of her pieces. However, her cover of Radioactive, imo, doesn't come close to the original.
Great original
But this one gave me chills when I first heard it
