tha'ts not what they are talking about when they talk about transparency.. what you are referring too is what they say when they say it's too confusing and convoluted how it all works. The transparency is when you can't see what's going on in the meetings that the decisionis are made and the laws decided, you can't see or hear the arguments, how it went down, who decided what etc. I'm sure they have a good reason for it, but it's not the sort of set-up I have confidence in at all.

Furthermore you vote in your party true, so in that sense you decide who does end up there for each country, in asense, because the positions of the decision makers are by appointment only. the EU parliament is where the people can vote, but the MEPs have no real power it seems, the other 3 convoluted bodies are where all the decisions are made, they discuss. It's like a pseudo-democracy, and weak, bottom line is I can't decide what happens for my country.. cos even if my countries representatives vote in my interest, they are only a fraction of a whole, ind if everyone votes against it, i can't do anything about it. and if I think the system sucks, I can't remove the people in it, what I do hardly makes a difference, i'm several times removed from the process too much is out of my control, opens all sorts of doors for manipulation and tampering, and I don't trust the integrity of people enough to give them such control, besides I can make decisions on my own thank you. Don't need tons of legislation telling me how to do it. Un-necessary and burdensome red tape, that sounds good in the soundbyte but works out quite poorly.

    Glad we're OUT !!

I have a handful of consumer good companies that have large overseas exposure. Coke and Proctor and Gamble are two, maybe J&J. They are going to get crushed when the market opens in a few hours.. probably lose 5% or so instantly. Looking to buy into whichever of those stocks have the deepest drop near the end of the day. Those types of companies are, shall we say, well represented when it comes to trade deals. When the new trade deals get done with the UK, they will have much better deals than they currently have in the UK.

I don't know of a single personal who voted to remain with the UK just in case an independent Scotland wouldn't be allowed to enter the EU. It was a total non-issue for voters in that referendum.
Wrong. Having to leave EU was one of the main concerns. They feared they would be denied a EU membership because England would have lrevented that.

Northern Ireland is pretty surely leaving GB. Might reunite with Ireland. Scotland will get their vote. And England will have diffuculties.

The biggest problem will be to get a stable government. Cameron is politically dead. And the conservatives will have a very big problem to get everyone behind a new leader. There is a lot of damage. I think there will be pretty fast new elections.

That's been debunked. Spain would block a Scotland that Unilaterally declared Independence as it would set a trend for Catalonia. So long as it's consistent with the UK's constitution they wouldn't have a problem as there's no mechanism in the Spanish one for a region to become Independent.

weight in Europe? don't see what you want to hear, see what I actually wrote! You don't need the EU to be a successful nation thank you very much. It's a lie, to make you think you need to be part of an organisation oyu can do without. Don't let them convince you the whole world needs to be a part of the EU to survive, that's like slavery, and dependence culture on something that's really not all that.. If it was something truly amazing and perfect, and infallible, that would give everything for me, then i'd do likewise and galdly belong to it wholly, but as it's not, no thank you. Each nation doesn't need to become a part of the EU to survive. Nor to fluorish.

It might stabalize but it will be much lower than it was yesterday. Right until essentially the day UK leaves it will be too uncertain to bank on the UK.

Northern Ireland do not want it and Southern Ireland could not afford it.

My national currency is currently plummeting, already lost about 4-6% vs euro and dollar. GBP is going down too and my customer pays in GBP. Oh well... we'll see how it goes for UK.

But it will be really funny if UK starts falling apart and Scotland or Ireland decide to leave. Guess politicians and demagogues will do any damage to their country if it only means them grabbing some power
I have enough of EA ruining great franchises and studios, forcing DRM and Origin on their games, releasing incomplete games only to sell day-1 DLCs or spill dozens of DLCs, and then saying it, and microtransactions, is what players want, stopping players from giving EA games poor reviews, as well as deflecting complaints with cheap PR tricks.

I'm not going to buy any game by EA as long as they continue those practices.

Nigel Farage is not hte only person you know, and there are many people who wanted to leave, of many skin colour types, accents, ages, political persuasions, belief systems - the media love focusing on Nigel Farage, and Nigel bet on the right horse, but NIgel actually genuinely belives about the exit, wasn't betting on anything, but it does play into him.

Britain has a leader, it's David Cameron. It has an elected Government too, Nigel Farage is not even an MP, he may become one next term, I wish him well, he still has a purpose and a role to play , funny man huh. At least he stood up for what he bleived in, which is more than a lot who chose to fear.

its kinda funny, the first thing I did when I heard the news, was to see what Scroe had to say about it. Guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow. This drunken redneck says, hey whatever you want to do, the US has a deep, deep, deep, love of the UK, its almost gross. We got your back whatever way you go. It serves our interestents if you stay in the EU....but screw it, we like the UK more than the EU
