These are two teams that could well have met in the knockout stage of a 16 team tournament though.

Having played the same number of group games to get there.

The size of the tournament isn't really an excuse for this game.

They squeezed through the group stage and cant even put up a decent cross. Only half decent players have been pepe and sanchez since he came on. Croatia have actually played some nice football in the tournament.

How many of them know what's REALLY happening? In the stadium and in the forum. There's boring games because they are really boring and there's boring games because all players are doing their job perfectly.

They've been playing for 113 minutes and failed to get a shot on target. Now there have been some shots, so not everyone is doing their job perfectly. Just those shots have not been well placed.

If those guys don't use steroids than they are superhuman. Nearly 2 hours of running on the pitch and they can still sprint. Pol Vs Swis game the Poles were out of gas in extra time.
